How to Scan on The HP Envy Photo 7155.

Note: Before you proceed, ensure the printer is on the UNTUCKit wireless network.

 

**Please note your Mac login details are required to install this software. Please use the store

managers login details.

 

1a.From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch  (Wireless).

2. Under the Wireless Summary screen, confirm if your printer is connected to the UNTUCKit network.

**If the printer is connected, please proceed to step 2b, else step 3.

3. Touch(Settings).

4. Touch Wireless Settings.

5. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard

6. The printer will scan for available networks, Follow the display instructions to complete the setup process.

7. Click on the link below to obtain the Wifi password. TECHit Printer/WiFi FAQ

2b. Download the HP Easy Start app. HP_EASY_Start.app on the Macbook.

3. Open the application, and you will be prompted with a Welcome to HP Easy Start screen.

4. Tick the End User License Agreement and Privacy Statement box and follow the prompts to install the software.

5. The software will scan the network and pick up the printer.

6. In this step, you will select the software you want to download and install, ensure you tick both boxes: Essential Software and HP Easy Scan.

7.the installer will begin to download the software, and this process could take 10 mins or more depending on your internet speeds.

8. In this step, the software will ask you for the Mac login details. Please use the Store managers login details to proceed.

9. The system will prompt you to confirm your Mac login details again, and once you confirm the details, you will see another window on the screen Titled System Extension Blocked. Please select Open Security Preferences

10. Once inside Security Preferences, confirm your mac details again and at the bottom of the screen, click on Allow and close the window.

11. Continue the installation by following the prompts.

12. The last and final step is to Test print or Scan an item to confirm your scanner is working correctly. Click on continue to close out the window.

Now you are ready to scan!
