Adyen/iOS communication fix (New to iOS 14)

This guide is being provided to resolve a communication issue between the Adyen credit card terminal and the Associate app. This comes as a new feature to iOS 14 allowing end user to manage Local Network Access of Apps on an iOS device.

Priority: Emergency

Steps to Resolution:
  1. Open Settings on your iOS device (iPhone/iPad).
  2. Scroll down to the Associate app
  3. Confirm Local Network is toggled on.



  







The final step is to perform a test transaction to confirm communication between your Adyen terminal and the iOS device.
